{"id":50129,"title":"Quick Introduction","description":"What is AFLVME?","content":"<p>Hi, hey, welcome\u2026<\/p><p>This is AFLVME - a vision that began in 2016 when I stole some snaps of my brother\u2019s sketchbook where he regularly doodled random colourful graffiti style art.<\/p><p>Growing up, the beige walls of his room were adorned with graffiti tags, characters and phrases. These were painted with florescent highlighters and UV pens so that at night, a blacklight revealed even more vibrant shapes and colours that covered even the ceiling.<\/p><p>His sketchbooks were a curated compilation of this art. Most of the pages were filled with beautifully illegible words but they inspired the first step of this vision\u2026<\/p><p><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/a66glcwlstsgo6byfr02ihocpkt6wsnxp7mieai288whkdsa.jpg.jpg?w=1140&amp;v=2\" alt=\"Photo of a section of a lined notepad page with graffiti art sketched.\" title=\"Photo of a section of a lined notepad page with graffiti art sketched.\" \/><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/lpuqpaz6ofpmmbmtc5jjest6rfcnze964c8ndqn4hwcyaqif.png.png?w=1140&amp;v=2\" alt=\"Photo of a section of a lined notepad page with graffiti art sketched. Reads\" \/>My plan was to transform as many of his sketches into vector graphics using Adobe Illustrator, this was made possible by a moment of hyper-fixation so it wasn\u2019t until during the fourth graphic that I realised most of his sketches spell the word \u201ctitties\u201d slightly misspelled and also featured a pair of breasts\u2026<\/p><p><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/05pwubfgcbp7y6pq9kzdk3azjv0jnao90s0xrla4uqgw0mu3.png.png?w=1140&amp;v=2\" alt=\"05pwubfgcbp7y6pq9kzdk3azjv0jnao90s0xrla4uqgw0mu3.png.png?w=1140&amp;v=2\" \/>Of course a cis-het teenage boy \/ adolescent man was drawing \u201cboobs\u201d over and over and over again\u2026 but he made it art, street art and now I\u2019m making it wearable fashion and sharing it with you to create effortless style.<\/p><p>AFLVME is more than a clothing brand or label, more than a hobby or passion project, more than a family business and definitely more than can be explained in a single blog post.
